She may only be 15 years old, but Irish actress Saoirse Ronan really knows how to choose her movie projects. First she was nominated for an Oscar in 2008 for her role in Atonement and now she's getting a lot of attention for her latest film The Lovely Bones.
Ronan next will be reteaming with Atonement director Joe Wright again shortly for Focus Features' Hanna. ComingSoon.net talked exclusively to the actress about the role at the 25th Annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival, where she received the Virtuoso Award.
"I'm doing a film with Joe Wright again called 'Hanna,'" Ronan told us on the red carpet before she accepted her award. Saoirse attended The Lovely Bone Dublin Premiere.I have already added 38 pictures to the gallery . I like her Black dress and her pink shoes it was so cute and he is with his dad. you gatta check them out!! . i'll add more so check back soon..

Heres a new lovely article which inludes a photoshoot taken by Linda Brownlee.
Saoirse Ronan turned 15 last April and runs on a different clock from the rest of us. She says she's glad she didn't start acting young, because it might have screwed her up and burnt her out. It's not as if she began acting at, say, three or something. She waited until she was eight, which was more sensible, because when you reach "our age" (she includes me in this) you at least know what you're doing, and in any case, things didn't start getting weird until a few years ago, with the Oscar nomination. "So I'm glad I'm only really starting now," she says firmly. "Because it means I can be seen as an actor as opposed to a child actor." With that, she wriggles forward on the couch and begins eating her spaghetti bolognese lunch. read more

Saoirse Ronan was born on April 12th, 1994. With her family in the acting business it was no surprise she booked her first role at the tender age of 10. Since then Saoirse has gone on to appear in many big budget movies, including "City of Ember", "Death Defying Acts" and "Atonement" - which earned her an Academy Award Nomination. Saoirse's latest film is "The Lovely Bones", which is set to be released in December 2009
